Hi Dave, I’ve successfully installed Web Deployment Project, the MSBuild Community Task but I’ve got an error while installing the DotNetNuke Starter Kit. Here is the error message:
“Installation stopped because the directory for the ProjectType value did not exist. The project type is invalid for your installation of Visual Studio.”

There is a thread about this here. http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/107/threadid/167385/scope/posts/Default.aspx
Assuming you installed Visual Studio Web Developer Express, it SHOULD work anyhow.
But, since I use the commercial version of Visual Studio, I’m not sure I’m going to be much help beyond pointing you to the DotNetNuke site for help.
