Forming CT SEM Think Tank

Do you live in Connecticut?
Do you know something about Search Engine Marketing?
Do you feel like you are the only one in Connecticut doing Search Engine marketing?
Have you had limited success but you’d like to achieve more?
I have an idea I think you’re going to like.
I am looking for other like-minded SEM experts to form a think tank, or maybe you’d call it a user’s group, in Connecticut.
This will be a group of my own choosing and I will be highly selective.
If you are already making boat loads of money using your SEO skills, we don’t want you. Sorry, Howie, maybe we’ll let you be a guest speaker sometime.
If you’ve never made a dime, we don’t want you either.
I’m looking for people in the middle. Limited success. You must be able to demonstrate to me that:
- You are making some money off of your SEM efforts.
- The money you are making is not tied to work you are doing for clients. In other words, if you had no clients, you’d still be able to make money with your SEM efforts.
- You must be making more than you are spending or have a good reason why you are not.
- You must be passionate about SEM.
Obviously, you’ll want the same from me. So if you are selected, I’ll prove to you I’m making money and show you exactly how I’m doing it.
The goal of this group will be:
- To share what’s working for us and what isn’t.
- To give us a place to bounce ideas off of each other.
- To share what latest guru tactic works and what doesn’t.
- Ultimately to help each other make more money doing what we love.
I am looking for no more than five people to join this group and I will be highly selective. In fact, I may select no one at all if no one fits.
The only cost involved is your time. I expect us to meet once a month once we get going.

In the body of the email, tell me why you think I should include you in this group and provide a phone number I can reach you at. Resume format would be good, but isn’t necessary. Do not send attachments, they will not be opened. Sorry, I’m just a tiny bit paranoid that way.
Final note: If you are OK with traveling to Connecticut (think the farthest point from where you live) once a month, I will consider you as well, but this is designed to be primarily a Connecticut group.
